This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for June 03, 2008:
I take myself to Borders for coffee, journal writing and magazine browsing. Three of my favorite things. I also go for coffee and journal writing at coffee houses, diners, anywhere that will let me sit and sip tea or coffee while I scribble. I love to write when there are other people around. I like the buzz of conversation, especially at coffee houses new universities.

I always liked writing at the local IHOPs, myself, late at night. The servers were glad for the company and my thoughts would just flow. Thank you for reminding me of that…been a long time since I've visited such a place to write…hmm, may have to take a late night trip sometime very soon!
What fun, do the people there give you inspiration? I used to do this but ca,'t now that I am a full time carer.
Everything gives me inspiration! Lately, like you, I have been way too busy to visit the restaurant (that and there doesn't seem to be one in a 25mile radius from my home:( Nonetheless, I find ways to be inspired such as walking through the park or seeing a particularly stunning sunrise or even just by living in my true present moment! Most recently, I find my inspiration in giving and random acts of kindness! It is amazing the triumph in humanity through compassion and love!
